Today

Decent size but semi-lumpy surf today. Light wind in the AM & ok on tide push. Bumpy PM.

Dawn-10am: Easing surf off mainly NW windswell but some SSW swell hanging around as well. Mix is good for waist-shoulder high surf at NW/combo spots. Better breaks go head high as the tide pushes in (after the drained out low first thing)

Light/variable early morning winds, but some leftover lump remains.

Afternoon Outlook: Surf slowly settles as W wind builds for slightly smaller, bumpier and generally lower quality surf (as compared to the AM).

Not all south swells are created equal. From Bombing Teahupo'o to Massive Wedge, watch the science behind the South Pacific's most remarkable run in decades: https://bit.ly/4xS68hZ

The farther up the beach you go, the bigger and beefier the waves become. Read more
