Decent summer swell, onshore wind but not that strong all day
Dawn-to-Midday: surf heights around the shoulder/head-high range at standouts spots at first light although onshore wind is still a little breezy. Not howling especially on the dropping tide later this morning so there are waves if you need to be in early, sheltered spots will have smaller, cleaner surf around high-tide.
Afternoon Outlook: swell energy fades a little later this evening but with only light onshore wind it's a decent day to get in, high-tide breaks the go after work.

Croyde Surf Guide
One of the UK's most popular surf destinations, this is a high-quality, hollow, peaky beachbreak, hemmed in by Downend Point to the south and Baggy Point to the north. The currents and swells conspire to produce heavy, low-tide barrels and excellent waves as the tide pushes in. The average surf here tends to be a bit smaller than in Cornwall, but six-foot Croyde can offer board-breakingly good Hossegor-like conditions. Gets crazy busy in small summer waves.
