Smaller but still fun waves on tap this morning with fading swell. Light winds for the morning.

Dawn-10AM: Old SSW swell, along with a little lingering NW swell, has surf mainly running chest to head high zone in the morning -- a little overhead for standouts west of Dume.

Light/variable to light S winds in the morning for mostly clean conditions either side of Dume. Points have some rippable lines.

PM Outlook: Similar size sticks around. Moderate W sea breeze for lumpier conditions west of Pt. Dume. Sheltered points stay on the cleaner side through the back half of the day.

County Line Surf Guide

Always bigger and colder than it looks, this is the first consistently surfed spot south of Point Mugu (it's actually just north of the Los Angeles County line). County Line can be a fun hot-dog wave, while the beachbreak can get nasty and hollow at high tide. It is probably the most visible surf spot on this stretch of highway, but the indistinct lineup can be hard to figure out, and that spreads the crowd around nicely.
