Today

Decreasing but still pretty fun surf - trades a little lighter and clean. Playful/fun day.

Dawn-10AM: Still decent southerly swell mix on the local buoys. Nice day to target if you like cruisy-er waves - smaller than earlier in the week and definitely smaller than the pumping swell coming up through the weekend of the 13th-14th and peaking into early Monday. Look for waist-chest high waves at the better breaks, with occasional sets to head high at standouts. Offshore/groomed conditions in town.

Afternoon Outlook: Surf gradually eases as trades stay up.

SURFILMUSIC is hitting theaters this week. Follow Jack Johnson’s journey from surfer and filmmaker to world-renowned musician in the new documentary from director Emmett Malloy. Click here for local screening dates, theater locations, and tickets.

Count on sharing the lineup on a four to six-foot day with the South Shore's finest... Read more
