Today
Fresh round of healthy, well aimed Southern Hemi fills in today, most size in the PM. Light winds.
Dawn to 10am: A sizeable/strong storm spun up near New Zealand and sent up a powerful, favorably angled SW swell. The long-period, well aimed swell rises through the day and becomes dominant over the older SSW energy. This swell mix sets up widespread chest-shoulder high waves. Very little NW swell in the mix. Light/variable winds.
Afternoon Outlook: Surf goes head high to 1-2' overhead range at good breaks as the swell fills in, largest late. Light+ W winds.
