Our forecasters are here to help you cut through the noise, using their decades of experience and local knowledge to give you guidance on making the most of your time in the water.

With our latest update, we’ve brought our forecast team’s wealth of knowledge front and center to make your surf check experience faster and more informative. Here’s what's new:

Today's headline

Get a quick summary of conditions for the day from your local forecaster at your favorited regions, at the top of your Home screen. Toggle between your favorite regions to see the day’s headline for that area.

Days to watch

Know which days to keep an eye on by looking for the star icon.

‍

Check the forecast for any of those highlighted days to see what exactly the forecasters are paying extra attention to, whether they’ll have the biggest waves, cleanest conditions, or even a volatile forecast that might be one to skip.

‍

“Days to watch” can include:

• Days our forecasters themselves would like to surf, or days they would encourage friends to get in the water.
• ‘Sneaky’ days that don’t actually look great on paper, but with the right combination of conditions, will be reasonably fun and worth considering.
• Days that our team believes might be worse than originally forecasted.
• Days during a run of swell that might be particularly suited for different experience levels, surf styles or board quivers.
