Small wave this afternoon, cleanest lines with shelter from S breeze
Afternoon Outlook: 1-2f surf this afternoon at low-tide, the sets have a little more to them than this morning as a pulse of W swell filters in. SSW breeze still there so conditions are a little bumpy but there are clean little runners at spots with shelter from the south. A touch more energy on the way for this evening, waist-high sets and something to get the floatiest boards moving as the tide drops off high.

A consistent beachbreak to the north of Newquay, this is a popular contest venue and, dependent on the banks, a two-mile stretch of sand that can churn out punchy lefts and rights along its length. This spot was traditionally seen as a less crowded alternative to Fistral with a less competitive vibe, but it has become increasingly busy in recent years.
