Small surf on the north coast this afternoon - cleanest with shelter from SSW breeze
Afternoon Outlook: a little more energy to the surf this afternoon as a pulse of W swell filters in. Top spots around 2ft, with the odd bigger set starting to show. SSW wind so conditions have a side-shore texture/bump to them but there are waves for the floatiest boards. A touch more size this evening, conditions remain as is.

This sandy beach is a heavy, hollow proposition at low, but works through the tides. Low tide reveals the consistent Lushingtons to the south - popular with bodyboards and barrel-hound groms. At high tide the waves are usually smaller, and the cliffs offer some protection from light southerly or southwesterly winds.
