Today

Easing easterly swell but NW/NNW winds are negatively impacting conditions. North winds later.

Still some surf around -- waist to head high range early across the exposed open breaks and smaller into the points. That size fades steadily through the day.

Winds are NW/NNW at dawn and that is setting up textured, bumpy conditions for most while the well sheltered breaks look a bit more manageable. Winds trend more northerly through the day which won't do us any favours.
