Dawn to 10:00AM: Big, strong storm on good track set up pumping SSW (200-185) swell that will be the largest of the season - to date - when it peaks Tue PM-Wed.

Morning sees very long period swell move in. Lully on the front end, chest-head high, but powerful and fast with strong current forming. Light AM wind.

Afternoon Outlook: Breaks that focus long period swell see overhead surf build, running well overhead at standouts. Beachbreaks get overloaded. Moderate WNW wind mid PM then eases

K-38 Surf Guide

Located just south of Rosarito, K-38 is a classic Baja Norte setup and one of the first that people surf when they start visiting California's southern neighbor. A moderately powerful, bowly right point breaking over a rocky reef, K-38 isn't epic, but its reliably fun and relatively long, making it a fun day-trip from San Diego and an obvious stop during road trips to points further south. Read more
