Today

Mid-sized to solid mix of SSW and SW swell. Mid-AM window looking best.

Another strong round of long period SW(220-200) swell from a recent storm that dropped massive surf in Tahiti. The westerly direction is good for the region, spreading size much more evenly than the recent SSW/S swells. Chest-head high to a bit overhead waves at better spots as standouts go well overhead.

Drained early morning tide to wait out, winds look okay for the mid-morning window as shape improves. Moderate WNW onshores top out mid afternoon, then gradually lighten into the evening.
