Santa Cruz Forecast

Today

Another good run of Southern Hemi fills into well exposed spots today. Favorable winds.

Afternoon Outlook: Long-period, selective S swell fills in, as old SSW swell eases, little NW swell lingers. Good southerly exposures are chest to shoulder high+ zone, while focal points hit head high+ at lunchtime. Look for a rise in size back half of the day as more swell shows. Light S winds mid day, go low-end moderate NNW offshore later afternoon. Tide sensitive breaks are slowed some by the later afternoon high tide.

The Save The Waves Film Festival returns to Santa Cruz on June 12th at the Rio Theater. More info and tix: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/save-the-waves-film-festival-santa-cruz-ca-tickets-1989431854230

Between Manresa and Moss Landing, you'll find mile after empty mile of open, lonely beachbreaks, just waiting to be explored. Th...
