Today

Fun waves as old swell fades, fresh SSW swell starts to move in. AM window best.

The most consistent surf will be down a bit from Saturday as old SSW swell mixes with the long period front end of our next SSW pulse. Thigh-waist high waves go chest-high for better breaks. Occasional waves in the shoulder-head high range show for summer standouts. More of those sets showing in the afternoon.

AM window is best to target, though. Lightest wind then, and a decent tide push setting up mid-AM with just a little onshore crumble. Moderate SW onshores in the afternoon.

However, just as easily, onshore winds can shred the surf to uselessness. Read more
