Knee-knee+ surf but still looking pretty small/weak overall.
Dawn-Midday: Weak low over the western Atlantic delivers a very tiny bump of NE/ENE swell. This is very small but enough for the big boards and groms. Best spots top out around thigh high. Worth watching if wanting to slide a few. Best winds/conditions are in the AM, so this is the window to target. Likely the best day of the week and worth a look with a slow pattern upcoming.
Afternoon Outlook: Small surf with onshore winds from the seabreeze means generally poor surf for the afternoon.

Nondescript beachbreak between the Poles and Jax Pier, Atlantic Beach’s 18th Street is probably just as consistent as any other beachbreak of the northern Jax beaches — consistently so-so. It will, however, accommodate a range of swells and tides, particularly N/NE swells on mid-tides, but isn’t known for handling anything more than a foot or two overhead. Read more
