With no sign of the expected swell showing at this point conditions remain very marginal at midday. Tiny waves are struggling to go much above knee high so model heights will be reading too high.
New NE swell is expected to build into the later afternoon but it's not going to be very big, maybe waist high at best so keep expectations low. Settled winds will tend more W-WSW and pick up over the next few hours. Whatever surf we see will be clean.
