Raglan, 30 miles west of Hamilton, is the primary reason you'll be in New Zealand. Actually three separate points, Indicators, Whale and Manu plus a series of beachies, you won't regret your decision to buy a ticket south. The waves are world class, consistent and the town is real cool, not unlike Margaret River or Santa Cruz.
