Dawn-to-Midday: head-high+ and bigger surf early along with an onshore breeze on the north coast so conditions will be a little jumbled at first light. Maybe not that appealing to get in early but the size is there if that's your thing. Sheltered breaks or the south coast a better option for most.
Afternoon Outlook: swell energy settles on the north coast through the afternoon/evening , onshore wind still there but it will be easing. Sheltered breaks always an option for mellower waves.
