Mornington Peninsula - Phillip Island Forecast

Peter Aquilina •

Today

Open beaches looking like the safe bet, potentially slightly less swell on offer and wind to tend N

More good looking surf on the open coast with N-NNW wind in place. This will eventually shift NNE-NE and open beaches to benefit from this wind direction. That said an increasingly gusty wind trend means quality not likely to stay as good - with both wind gusts possibly reaching gale and arvo tide too low. Playful conditions on these exposures with sets probably in the 2ft OH bracket - well overhead bracket. Make the most of the what's left of the higher tide.
