A very windy day, sheltered breaks will have small surf around the afternoon high-tide
Dawn-to-Midday: Not a great look early morning: strong onshore SW wind, not that much swell and heavy rain. Sheltered breaks start to see rideable waves towards lunchtime.
Afternoon Outlook: there'll be a mellow wave at sheltered spots around the afternoon high-tide. W wind will be slowly easing. Get the floatier boards in at spots that handle that wind. 2-3ft surf so nothing special.

The main beach holds big swells, but is rippy in any size. Frainslake Sands to the south is out of bounds and lies within the Castlemartin MOD firing range. Read more
