Afternoon Outlook: Solid SSW swell peaks this evening into Wednesday. Exposed breaks are shoulder-head high, top spots hit 1-2' overhead. Standout spots through the south end of the county are several feet+ overhead.
Lined/walled up at the beachbreaks, points and structured areas the call.
Low-end moderate W onshores peak mid PM for manageable lump, then ease into the evening.

Most surfers know that the hollow right slide known as Stanley's, named after the diner in front of the break, was destroyed in 1970 to make room for Highway 101. What most surfers don't known, however, is that Stanley's ghost lives. It's called Offramps, and during a large, short-period swell and medium tide, it offers a quick, hollow little right that siphons off onto a shallow sandbar.
