Live music was performed at the OC Tavern after-party by Todd Hannigan, Mick Kelleher, Brandon Bristow, and Machete Fight (featuring Russell Smith). Proceeds from the event were set aside to benefit Surfing America; the IOC-recognized non-profit governing body for U.S. surfing that annually selects the official USA Surf Team. The film features many of the greatest surfers from all eras, and guides viewers through the history of the link between surf culture and the world of music. "LIVE" features songs by artists particularly influential to core surfers from past to present - names like Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Jackson Browne, T.S.O.L., Jack Johnson, Pennywise, and many more.
