Stephanie Gilmore has accomplished a lot in her 22 years. Becoming the youngest person to be inducted into the Surfers' Hall of Fame in front of H.S.S. in Huntington Beach is just the most recent.

The reigning World Champion and current ratings leader was honored alongside Ian "Kanga" Cairns and Randy Lewis on August 6, 2010 for making "an indelible mark on the sport, industry and culture of surfing."

"I remember coming here when I was younger and putting my hands in Lisa Andersen's," Steph said upon acceptance of the award.
"That's funny, now I can go put my feet in her footprints!" Andersen shared later. "It's a special thing when you have a hero to look up to and I'm always humbled by her words. It's cool that even though we are years apart in age, we can just hang out and have a sandwich and chat about typical everyday gossip. Old soul, young heart."
