Tropical Juice
A double dose of tropical juice is in the works. Hanna sets up plenty of solid swell for the East Coast. Ike underwent rapid intensification and as a result we are expecting an earlier arrival of the swell for the East Coast. The Caribbean will also be cracking. We will see the initial long period forerunners (16s and likely a few higher readings) begin pinging our Eat Coast buoys Saturday with the swell well established Sunday; we are already seeing longer swell periods on the Puerto Rico buoy. Spots such as those in the Northeast will see a mix of Hanna and Ike swells with good winds. Know your limits and have fun! Be sure to check out our new Hurricanetrak and check out our Ike blog - Do We Like Ike?
