We'll see a southwest swell running on Saturday that will ease Sunday. Size will be limited somewhat, due to the blocking effects of Catalina and San Clemente Islands, but fun size waves in the waist-shoulder high range will show, although they will be pretty inconsistent. There will likely even be a few larger sets sneaking in from time to time. A new and better angled south swell will begin to build over the late afternoon/evening on Sunday, which will provide additional size and consistency in the head high+ range late in the day if the contest is still running. Wind looks light onshore each morning, then building out of the southwest to west each afternoon to moderate levels.
