RIP CURL PRO SEARCH: DAY THREE
Ratings leader Mick Fanning could conceivably win the world title here in Peniche. But rather than practice at one of the event possibilities this morning, he got whipped into a few manly-sized waves -- with a tow board, no less, displaying a surprising disregard for his own ankles.
