Previous       31 of 38       Next Surfline forecasters closely tracked the progress of this swell through the South Pacific, past the equator and into the Northern Hemisphere using data obtained from the Jason satellite and plotted against our LOLA swell model. During the daily forecast team discussions, which were led by Sean Collins, we talked about the size of the swell we would see at the equator and what that would ultimately mean for the surf we would experience at home.
