| Rachel Spear didn't hold back when this set rolled through at Teahupoo. "The craziest thing was seeing Rachel take on a bomb sets on her longboard!" said Laura. "Raimana and the boys called her into it and she just charged. But when she got to the bottom of the wave, and it squared up she slid out and went over the falls! She got the next three solid sets on the head on the inside dry reef before Raimana jumped on the ski and picked her up. It was so gnarly! Somehow she didn't get cut." Photo: Tim Mckenna |
