PEOPLE!tiago in 2º, so what? Lewis is showing that he was impressed by his surfing and that tiago showed that he can do better!!!!!!
06/21/2008 06:50 AM
hey cordeirio tiago hasn't dont better than a 17th this year and tag, cj and the rest of the top ten leave him in their dust!!! ps its ok man you just dont know and neither does SL
Cordeiro 06/20/2008 06:51 PM
Well..."Cynics might have dismissed Tiago's Tahitian R1 win and perfect ten as flukes, but he did it again in Fiji - a R1 win with 16.17, and a sack-heavy tube duel with Taj..." doesn't seem to me as sarcasm, nor joke! "Quit being so fucking stupid" well, well, temper now! Someone's pretty upset, is that you Taj?, maybe Cj or some other TOP 10 that's pretty bummed some Euro untalented guy stealing your thunder. Guess what? You didn't shine bright enough for thunder! That's why SL put Saca in 2.

great publicity for tiago, say good or bad, what matters is people speak of him! but he does rip! portuguese are inviting you, lewis, for some good cold waves in portugal, aren´t they, mate?
"3rd world" paradise 06/19/2008 10:04 AM
adriano is better than saca... in the power ranking bruno santos is 2º.
PBeach 06/18/2008 08:10 PM
Just one thing to remember: even Jihad surfs way better than 99.999% of us.
PBeach 06/18/2008 08:05 PM
Tiago is a great surfer, but #2? I can't tell if Lewis is joking??? The Kelly stuff, obviously sarcasm. The rest, no surprises...well the thing that I find most interesting is Bruce's retirement. The guy is a natural talent...how hard can it be to live the CT life? At his age, retire? I bet he'll look back and regret it.

I think the guy who said these things is soooooo jealous so he just hammers everyone, i want to see this guy on a wave hahahah, must be so funny....BUT he's so scared of talking of hawaiis, and he licks all of americans.....He is so american, only americans can say these stuff....PEACE

i've always appreciated the Power Rankings, glad to see other's are finally recognizing their value. CJ Hobgood said himself that these things lit a bit of a fire under his rear. nobody has any trouble ripping into NBA stars, baseball players, even golfers when they have a dismal outing. and until these Power Rankings, everyone seemed to be walking on eggshells with pro surfers. and i'm sick of hearing nothing but "i'm just so stoked to be here and make it through" from the post heat interviews

If you cannot understand that putting Tiago at #2 is nothing more than SARCASM, A JOKE, then you are not very bright. Read the power rankings in the archive from the beginning of the season. This falls under "If I have to explain it to you, you will never get it." Quit being so fucking stupid...
Ganau 06/18/2008 06:52 AM
Hi think that Cramalheira is the best power surfer because he his the only man that can make the "role-knee-backhand-one leg"
Cordeiro 06/18/2008 06:42 AM
People continue to mistake power rankings for asp rankings. Why the big jump of Tiago from 39th to 2nd? First - to rattle some people who seem to have been falling asleep in their go for it attitude! Tiago was the one to show the most of that attitude. Second - Who has made the biggest impression these last 2 venues? Tiago whom everybody thought to be a underdog - "You are nothing special no matter how hard you try". Well he showed the world what pure drive and commitment can do!!!! Dá-lhe Tiag

We should remember that not one of us, including the author, is able to do 1% of what those guys are able to do on a wave. Now, there are losers and winners, 'cause it's a competition. Being sarcastic is funny, but the reality is that they're all great surfers. As for the euros, it is better now than five years ago, and it will be better in five years. Especially for Flores, he is just 19, that is enough to evolve, he deserves his place in the top 44
Kami 06/18/2008 06:23 AM
Sad to see that some people still think USA is the center of the universe. Get over it...
Hellman 06/18/2008 01:45 AM
Slater is #1. Looking good for WCT#9 win. He will still be kickin'ass in 5 years time. HE IS THAT GOOD! Good luck buddy!! Not that you need it!
