Can art, fashion and music help save our favorite beaches?
That's the idea benefit events like Billabong's Design for Humanity on June 4, 2008 are shooting for.
To kick off the night, surf artists like Wolfgang Bloch and Chris Jordan will have their pieces on display, beside images by some of the finest surf photographers in the industry. Everything on exhibit will be auctioned off throughout the evening, with all proceeds to benefit Surfrider Foundation. "This is an incredible melding of music, art, fashion and social responsibility," says Surfrider Foundation CEO, Jim Moriarty. "We are honored to be named as beneficiaries for this year's Billabong Design for Humanity event." |
