My only real complaint is there's been 3 events since Tahiti, yet still no updated column! Put down the vodka bottle, Lewis, or open a new one, either way get your ass in gear! We other surf junkies are fiending for another hit of your shit! Get to work!

As good as Derek Hynd...? Maybe not, but nice to see someone actually cares enough to put their thoughts down on "paper" for everyone else to read, hate on, cheer on, give their opinion on and more. Definitely biased, but as mentioned in the case of Martin Potter, I think it will serve to fire some of the boys up! We shall see! Anyone else wants to make the effort to write up and send in their own views on the Top 45 to Surfline, I'm sure they'd love a second opinion! Keep up the good work!

What a subjective view on Jordy Smith. Clearly Jordy and Dane are great surfers and represent the future of competitive and free surfing. Jordy's wave selection has sucked in all events prior to J-Bay. The fact that he has even posted threatening scores off the crap he has ridden is an achievement in itself. Ignore this prick Jordy and focus on your goals.

WHAT A RUDE AWAKENING IN 1955 AT DEL MAR IF THERE WERE SIX GUYS OUT, ON A GREAT DAY, EVERYONE WOULD BITCH ABOUT HOW CROWDED IT WAS. NOW YOU CARRY 7 TIMES WHAT I WOULD CONSIDER A CROWD. THIS ISN'T SURFING IT IS MERELY ADVERTISING AND HYPE,CERTAINLY NO FUN. MY SPOTS WITH 5-6 PEOPLE ARE JUST GREAT. KEEP CRASHING INTO EACH OTHER.

Oh my god! It's seems like we are talking about a bunch of nazies. What a xenophobic chat room. This is only surfing. SPORT. Do you xenophobic ones know what it means? French, Americans, Aussies, Brazilians....who cares. I'm sure the pro surfers themselves don't even care about it. After all, they are living the dream of every surfer on planet earth and there is no room for prejudice on a sport like surfing, where no matter how much money you have, how well educated you are or ones skin colour.

How biased is this? Apparently the Americans won last year? I seem to remember Aussie's taking out both male and female world title's... and the Triple Crown, yet you read the write-ups on the Australians and there is little in the way of compliment. Get Serious Seppos.

You really predicted that Bruno, the short goofy-foot tube ride freak, would win this thing. He kept saying to that boring interviewer GT, after demolishing one surfer after another that it was so unfortunate that the the conditions were dropping and the barrels were getting smaller and smaller - meaning that he could obviously take`em all down if it was big too- as big as the trials, when he got second and could have got first if he had only a couple more minutes on that final against Jamie O.

Hey I think Lewis is pretty funny actually. Seems to hit the nail on the head alot, beats most other surf journalism which "legendises" everyone on the smell of any oily rag. He can also give praise

In spite of having a point sometimes, that editor-author-guy shows as a biased frustrated moron enticing racist morons. The truth about Flores, Jordy, Dane, Jihad, Bede, Taylor or Bruce is in the live webcasts. Images don't lie and the scores are there. You even get replays on demand. So stay tuned to the events and get your own opinion! Let's be reasonable: this "Power Crap" sucks big time and cannot be taken seriously, not even HA-HA seriously. Last time I waste my time here...

It was a excellent men on men heat and
Portuguese are not about to kill Parko! :) Please... Not at all! Parko is a outstanding surfer we admire and respect.
Such is Tiago in Portugal and trough Europe, Parko has is own aura and good influence on surf today.
We are happy and proud with Tiago results and he's proving being a competitive surfer on his rookie year. Alright!! Go Tiago! Go Portuguese Tiger!

With the rise of the surf-industrial complex I have watched a lot of articles in the surf media about the pros become shameless white bread "I'm bros with the pros" PR pieces - it is great to see a writer putting his bum on the line and not being scared to piss off a pro - keep the opinionated stuff coming.
