Southern Hemi heading up the coast!.
A good looking low was centered off the south end of South America early last week.

That storm broke down what had been an extended streak of primarily zonal flow over the South Pacific and it aimed a healthy south swell up the coast of the Americas. That long-period S(180-190) swell starts to show at exposed spots of Southern California on Tuesday. Many of those breaks will see chest to shoulder high waves when the Southern Hemi hits its peak on Wednesday while the standouts go overhead on sets. Look for the southerly swell to slowly wind down by the second half of the week.
