Ed Sakal
Ed first started building surfboards in 1969 in South Bay, CA. Later he worked for Greg Knoll, Town and Country and E.T. Surfboards. In 1984 Ed opened up his own surf shop in Huntington Beach, CA. Today Sakal is located on Main Street in Downtown Huntington Beach, one block from the pier. The shop is a family owned and operated business. Sakal surfboards are all made from start to finish at their own factory in Huntington Beach. They are all 100% guaranteed satisfaction in performance. If you are not satisfied, they will build you a new surfboard at no cost. This has been their policy since day one.
