5 Gyres and Klean Kanteen Present "How Plastic is YOUR Ocean," An Ocean Themed Game Show

5 Gyres and Klean Kanteen present "How Plastic is YOUR Ocean?," an Ocean Themed GAME SHOW, hosted by comedian Chris Fairbanks, where pro surfers and snowboarders, including surfers Bianca Valenti and Mary Osbourne, and snowboarder Chanelle Sladics, will team up with members of the audience to answer question about our oceans.
The event is taking place from 6PM to 11PM on Feb 27, 2013 at Mighty, located at 119 Utah Street in San Francisco. Big prizes, including surfboards, snowboards, and related outdoor adventure equipment will be given out during each round of the game show, and there will be a silent auction with hotel stays, wine tastings, apparel and more. The Doc's of the Bay Food Truck will be out front serving sandwiches with a portion of the sales going to the cause.
All benefits go to 5 Gyres (www.5gyres.org), a non-profit environmental group that is dedicated to understanding plastic pollution through exploration, education, and action.
