Knee-waist high surf from local windswell/trade swell mix. Onshore winds all day add bump.
Small but rideable surf in the water, mainly from local ENE windswell. Best on the bigger boards with the lack of power. Better spots are seeing waist high peaks but without much shape. Onshore breezes, strongest AM hours. Winds tilt more SE for the PM hours, so we see textured conditions throughout the day but winds do ease somewhat later on.

Directly south of Carolina Beach is Kure Beach, where surfers generally focus on the pier or any of a number of beach accesses, like Alabama Avenue, which sits right at the border between the two towns.
