Glove-Controlled Electric Mountainboard Inventor Trying to Win Scholarship

Posted: (12/22)
To Whom It May Concern:

I'm Andres Guzman-Ballen, a computer engineering graduate student at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and right now I am trying to win a $10,000 scholarship through a contest, which ends January 1st, 2012. I spoke to Johnny Gothard, one of Surfline's employees, over e-mail and he referred me to this page.

In my spare time as an undergrad, I had built an electric mountainboard that first worked on a PlayStation 2 controller, but is now running on a glove that I also built. It really does feel like I'm surfing on the street now! Here's a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=686oJ7bNFIU

Is there any way I could get publicity to get enough votes to win? I need one vote per day. I know these shameless plugs are always annoying, but it's for a scholarship to pay for grad school and I could really use the money. This is the link I really need to get publicized: http://inspiringexperts.com/videogallery.php#aHiqeWe5Tzc. If you have any questions or concerns whatsoever, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]! Thank you so much for your time, I greatly appreciate it, and have a wonderful day!
