Domes Beach, Rincon, Puerto Rico (Thursday, February 26, 2015) - 2015 Corona Extra Pro Surf Circuit O'Neill Series for the 2015 - 2016 competitive season supported by APSPR (Association of Professional Surfers of Puerto Rico) is set to take off with some exciting new changes on March 7 & 8, 2015 at Domes Beach, Marias as the alternate beach in Rincon P.R. Top international surfers will descend on Domes Beach in Rincon to battle for the $37,000 prize purse; $25,000 to the men and $12,000 to the women. This event will begin the three contest surf series in pursuit of crowning a 2015-2016 champion. In addition, O'Neill will award the top female and male performance with $1,000 for highest heat score. APSPR is excited to announce the implementation of 4 and 3 man priority to competition. In order to keep in progression of professional competitive surfing APSPR is using the system to alleviate jockeying between surfers so they can focus on wave riding. The APSPR is always looking to fine tune and improve to meet current competitive standards. The priority system will be used in all heats throughout the duration of the event. Competition will be action packed with top professionals rejoining competition such as reigning champion Gabriel Escudero (PR). Top performers from last season Brian Toth (PR), Magnum Martinez (VNZ), Cody Thompson (FL), and Josie Graves (PR) are promised to put on a display of entertaining surfing at Domes. The draw looks to be one of the toughest in APSPR history with Asher Nolan (FL), Corey Lopez (FL), Brett Barley (NC), Balaram Stack (NY), Michael Dunphy (VA), Leif Engstorm (NY), and Mauricio Diaz (PR) adding to the draw. On the Women's professional side Alexis Engstorm (PR) will hope to take home court advantage on other top names including Emily Ruppert (FL), Bernice Cardona (PR), Jazmine Dean (FL), and Kayla Durden (FL).Thank you to all sponsors:Corona Extra, Corona Light, O'Neill, Compañía de Turismo, AT&T, Coppertone, Finlandia, Jose Cuervo
