Open Ocean Surf re opens in Redondo Beach April 3rd

Jumping in to the vacuum left by CHP Surf & Skate Jamie Ellert is opening OO Surf (Open Ocean Surf) this weekend at 1217 S Pacific Coast Hwy, Redondo Beach, CA. www.openoceansurf.com
When asked about his thoughts on making his new shop a success Jamie just said he plans to repeat his proven formula. This means running the shop himself to keep overhead low and connect with customers, shape affordable custom boards with a quick turn around (within two weeks) and keeping things focused on core surf products at an affordable price. He already has two custom orders that he shaped last weekend and are close to delivery.
To get things started Jamie snagged the fixtures and fittings from CHP Surf along with the remaining inventory which he plans to blow out as quickly as possible at a discount. Jamie has a very clear direction and wants to generate some cashflow so he can get new product in for May.
Jamie says to stop by this weekend and check out the shop, but bring cash because he won't get his cash register hooked up for credit cards until next week.
