Tuesday, December 4th saw some of the biggest waves ever surfed at Maverick's. Despite a thick mist and heavy west swell pushing hard towards the rocks, a couple dozen tow teams tackled the giant surf, including Peter Mel, Flea, Dan Malloy, Garrett MacNamara, the Wormhoudt brothers, and Twiggy, among others.
