While Hurricane Ike was building up to be the biggest and most destructive storm of the 2008 Hurricane Season, Cory had his eye on another storm in a different hemisphere. As Cory Lopez and Alek Parker left the country, Zander Morton and Rob Brown headed back to the Panhandle of Florida to catch the best Gulf Coast surf of the entire season. Download this series


Hurricane Hanna ran straight up about 200 miles off the East Coast of Florida, sending the crew plenty of surf. Once again it was all about timing, making sure they were out of the rain and on the southern side of the circulation to catch the off shore winds, turning lemons into lemonade. Download this series

Episode 2 - Gustav was all about timing. Like most hurricanes, there is a very short window for surf and Gustav was no exception. After the waiting, came big, outside A-Frames and insane, glassy surf. Cory Lopez, Alek Parker, Shea Lopez, Peter Mendia, and more make the most of it.

Tropical Storm Fay was a tricky little storm to follow. 30 inches of rain, flooded streets, gale force winds and the Eye of the storm centered over and moving up the East Coast of Florida. The 7am Tropical Update showed the center of circulation "The Eye" of Fay right over us. We knew that on the Southern Eye Wall of Fay was our only chance for clean surf. The decision was made to follow the southern eye wall as it moved up the coast and watch as the conditions changed from victory at sea to spitting barrels.
