CONTEST BALI FIRING FOR GLOBAL CHALLENGE Dusty Payne lived up to the hype and became the surfer to beat at the Oakley Pro Junior Global Challenge in Bali, exploding to life on his way to eliminating Australian Lincoln Taylor in their Round 3 face-off. After trailing Taylor for the opening third of the highly anticipated showdown, 19-year-old Payne threw some heat, netting a pair of 8's in the rising in rising six-foot conditions at Karamas. In the most exciting heat of the day, it was the powerful, strong Hawaiian against the innovative Brazillian, as sixteen year-old Brazilian Peterson Crisanto surfed freakishly well against powerhouse Kai Barger.
