An amazing tube and testament to a great spirit and stoke. I would love to see the clip a bit earlier and see how she paddles and stands up with the one arm... a very impressive adaptation. PS I read her book, and it was really something... shows her attitude and spirit very well. Check it out.

I surfed with her at Cotton's and a 10 wave overhead set came in. We (me, bethany, other strong and good surfers) were way over to the left and and caught inside. She easily made it out before all of us and she was the furthest inside. She's an exception, but do you think this video would get so much props if it was a male pro?? Not even WCT top ten, like they wouldn't even put this up even if it were some grom.

I met Bethany in Brazil 2 years ago, she is the sweetest and nicest girl I've met, I am so impressed with her, keep charging!

That was a bloody good tube, wish I could get one like that one day! I reckon Dylan Miller should send in a video of him surfing and we'll compare who is better. I challenge him to put some evidence up and let his surfing do the talking.

I saw Bethany surf large Sunset last year and it was an awesome display. Later that day saw her at Pipe getting a pretty nasty chin slice worked on by the lifeguards. Not sure if she went back to Sunset for another go but it wouldn't suprise me. Not only is she a great surfer but a wonderful representative of life in general.

One day you may learn that surfing, and all things worth their salt, are not about stoking the ego. Joy comes from loving what you do fully, not loving people telling you you're good at something. You're probably young and don't know any better, but this girl rocks. Pray that you have half of her courage.
