Southern California Recap: FRIDAY – WNW swell was fading today, but still offered waist-chest high surf at the better breaks. Top spots were up in the head high+ range.

SATURDAY: The early morning will start out on the slow side with mainly old WNW swell and waist high and below surf. New WNW swell builds through the afternoon with waist-chest high waves at the better breaks and shoulder/head high sets at top breaks late. Wind/Weather: Light/variable early morning with possible leftover lump and bump on the water. W wind will build 8-11kts for the afetrnoon.
