Hey, this is Kevin with your North Orange County Surf Forecast effective Friday afternoon.

Southern California Recap: FRIDAY – WNW swell was fading today, but still offered waist-chest high surf at the better breaks. Top spots were up in the head high+ range.

Southern California Surf Forecast Outlook: New WNW swell will build over the afternoon on Saturday (early morning starting a little slow) and holding early Sunday. The long range is looking promising as well. Check the forecast for further details.

SATURDAY: The early morning will start out a little slow with mainly old WNW swell. New WNW swell builds through the afternoon with waist-chest high waves at the better breaks and shoulder-head high waves at top breaks late. Small SW swell mixes in the background.
Wind/Weather: S wind early 3-6kts+. Afternoon SW to W wind 5-10kts.
