Spring Swell
WELCOME TO SPRING!! After a horrible winter things have been looking up for the East Coast as of late. And things continue to look positive – we are watching a surface low that is currently well to the north over Canada. This low is expected to push into the Atlantic SE to E of Nova Scotia and begin developing into a solid ocean low on Tuesday 3/24. This low is expected to interact with strong high pressure over Canada setting up strong fetches on the north and west side of the low pressure systems as the system move very slowly Wednesday 3/25 through Friday 3/26. As this occurs, this will set up plenty of swell for the East Coast – from the Northeast all the way down through the Caribbean regions. The only wild card will be the local winds in your region. Stay tuned as we track this chaotic March Madness over the coming days!
