Dropping swell!, this is Bird with the report for Tuesday morning at 6:50am.
2-3 ft.+ - knee to chest high with occasional 4 ft. and fair conditions.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Soft and rolly lines with steeper set wave corners that can stand up some.
Patchy fog with light SE winds right now.
A dropping WNW swell is the main source of energy this morning. Average wave heights are in the Waist to Chest high range with a + or two thrown in for good measure. The top open breaks to this swell direction can still see sets up in the Head high range. Once again strong high to low tide swings will have an affect on the size and shape of the surf at all areas through out the day.
TUESDAY: A near 6’ high tide around 11AM will be an issue through the mid-morning. WNW swell slowly fades with surf in the waist-shoulder-head high range and larger sets for standout NW breaks.
Wind: Light/variable to light offshore wind early, turning W to around 10kts for the afternoon.
