Hey, this is Sherwood with the report for Friday afternoon at 2PM.
1-3 ft - ankle to waist high and poor-fair conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Surf goes waist high and below this afternoon, with standout breaks seeing a rare chest high set. Onshore winds have picked up with textured conditions.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean but weak, broken up lines with some LBable corners on the best of the sets.
Building onshore flow.
A further drop in our swell combo out of the SW and WNW has decreased our surf to K-W waves at times for most areas. Look for the top SW breaks to see inc. set waves up to C high or so at times.
SATURDAY: Easing SW groundswell and minimal NW windswell. Surf hangs mainly around 1-2' with an occasional thigh-waist high wave at the better Southern Hemi exposures on weak/inconsistent sets.
Wind: Light/variable early. Then building around 10kts over the afternoon from the W/SW.
