Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Tuesday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: A mix of old NW swell and building SW and WNW-NW swells prevail this afternoon. Conditions remain mostly clean across the region with light onshore flow and sunny skies. Better breaks are in the knee-waist high zone, with a few chest high sets for top exposures. Look for top WNW/NW spots to see more size late in the day.
This morning's dawn patrol: Clean, weak, inconsistent little lines in the 1-2' zone. Marginally rideable for the small-wave gear.
Mostly sunny skies with SW winds under 5kts.
Today's waves are best suited to the 
SUP.
The surf is getting off to a slow start this morning with leftover NW(295-300+) swell and small Southern Hemi energy on tap early. A new NW-WNW swell builds in through the afternoon. Winds are calm offering up really clean conditions for the dawn patrol. Unfortunately, most breaks are getting to knee high at best as the tide fills in to a 5' high mid morning. Top exposures pull in some occasional plus sets.
County Health officials advise against going into the water for 72 hours after rain due to elevated bacteria levels.
