Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Monday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: WNW swell mix fades further this afternoon with knee-waist-chest high surf at better breaks across the region. Top spots pull in occasional plus sets. There are scattered, decent corners on tap at most breaks if you don't mind a little surface lump/bump. Onshore flow is on the rise, so if you plan on surfing this afternoon sooner is better than later.
This morning's dawn patrol: Semi-clean lines coming through with a few lined-up corners in the mix. Looking pretty soft, so less tide helps.
Scattered clouds with WSW winds 4-9kts.
Today's waves are best suited to the
Mini Fish.
WNW(270-300) swell-mix fades through the day today. Better breaks across the region are running in the knee-waist-chest high zone, as top exposures pull in some plus sets. Winds are light/variable offshore right now, with conditions still looking pretty mixed-up/jumbled on the whole.
Health officals advice against any ocean contact within 72 hours of a rain event due to elevated bacteria levels, especially near rivermouths, harbors and drainpipes.
