Hey, this is David with the report for Wednesday morning at 6:05am.
2-3 ft.+ - knee to chest high and fair conditions.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean scattered peaks and sectiony lines with mostly soft, short lived corners to snag.
Mostly cloudy skies with light/variable winds.
Still plenty of southern hemi energy on tap with fading S and SSE swells as a new long period SW swell is on the rise with some small NW windswell as well. Size has dropped a bit across the region but still fun with light/variable winds, mostly clean conditions and .6' low tide at 7am draining things out a bit. Look for a bit better shape on the tide push later this morning.
WEDNESDAY: Fading mix of old S and SSE swells, joined by new SW groundswell, touch of NW windswell. Biggest in the morning with waist-shoulder high surf and some head sets at standouts.
Watch out for the 0.7 Low tide around 7:00AM, which will keep conditions on the drained side for the dawn patrol. Expect generally improving conditions with the tide push.
Wind: Light/variable early, with W wind building up to 8-12kts for the afternoon.
