St. Patty's Day!, this is Schaler with the report for Wednesday afternoon
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: Fun zone surf prevails this afternoon off a mix of peaking WNW-NW swell and small-scale SW swell energy. Most breaks continue in the waist-shoulder high range, with stadout spots pulling in some head high sets. Conditions remain mostly clean across the region under sunny skies and light onshore flow.
THIS MORNING'S DAWN PATROL: Glassy but a bit inconsistent overall with some peaky lines and slow, workable corners. Plus sets.
Mostly sunny with light onshore flow.
Today's waves are best suited to the
Fatburner.
New WNW (290-300+) groundswell has filled in overnight and picked up surf across the region. Most breaks are in the 2-4' range while standout exposed spots are up to head high and occasionally slightly larger on sets. Conditions are nice and clean with calm to light offshore flow and the tide is rising to a 4' high right around 10am. Overall, its looking like a great morning to get wet and catch some fun waves!
County Health officials advise against going into the water for 72 hours after rain due to elevated bacteria levels.
