Observed Surf Report by Schaler at 6:45am
SURF:
2-3 ft
knee to waist high
Hey, this is Schaler with the report for Tuesday morning
This morning's dawn patrol: Scattered, semi-clean peaks with some bump/warble as we pass high tide.
Cloudy with passing rain and light/variable E winds.
Today's waves are best suited to the
Super Fish.
A mix of old/easing mid period WNW(270-300) swell and small, long period WNW-NW groundswell is on tap today. Better breaks across the region are running in the knee-waist high zone, as top exposures pull in some chest high sets. Winds are light/variable offshore, with the surf still looking a bit jumbled but offering up some occasional semi-mostly clean corners. A high tide just after 6am keeps things a bit sluggish early.
Health officals advice against any ocean contact within 72 hours of a rain event due to elevated bacteria levels, especially near rivermouths, harbors and drainpipes.
