The Mint Gallery Hosts Follow the Light Foundation Fundraiser. On Wednesday, September 10th, 6:00pm - 10:00pm, the Mint Gallery (34085 PCH, Dana Point), an exhibition of Flame's classic and never-before published images will be made available to the public. A slide show of Salt Creek locals, past and present, will be fetured during the opening event. The Hallway Ballers will be the special guest band. We'll see you there.

Letter of the Week: Anyone who surfed the Cove at C street around Monday, July 7th, or Tuesday the 8th, who may have become ill following their surf? The water was very red tide like with a metallic taste, gave me burning eyes. I spent 3 weeks on antibiotics and 3 days in the hospital with an infection following my surf. Just a reminder: Keep all valuables home or well hidden. There have been vehicle break-ins as recent as August 11th at Solimar and Mondos. If you see any suspcious vehicle take down the license plate numbers and call the Ventura Sheriff.
